Veterans:

Viable Concepts entrepreneurship program provides a rigorous entrepreneurial learning and development opportunity for veterans who want to continue service along side of returning citizens and women entrepreneurs.  Our program is designed for veterans interested in starting a new venture as a means to financial independence and for veterans who have an existing business for which they would like to increase profits.

Returning Citizens:

Jurisdictions release hundreds of thousands of offenders from jails and prisons each year. The successful transition of returning citizens back into the community -- without their re-offending -- is critical to community safety. A wide range of efforts are underway to prepare and support offenders for a successful return to their communities.  However, utilizing the disciplined Veterans along side returning citizens has not been tried.  In some jurisdictions, efforts are system wide and led by corrections agencies, involving other public agencies and community stakeholders in system change efforts. Other efforts are more limited in scope and may focus on specific offender groups or geographic locations.

Women:

There's a mix of men and women returning citizens as well as veterans.  Our program not only supports the returning citizen, veteran male or female, we also support the citizen without the distinction of veteran or returning citizen.  Self empowerment through entrepreneurial . . . means . . . "Viable Concepts!"
